Great campground in a good location for touring the Minneapolis area. Easy big rig access and nice sites. Beautiful, clean casino on property. Campground fills up on summer weekends so be sure to call ahead for reservations. Will stay here again.

This place is a pit. The sites are dirt with many potholes and most are strewn with cigarette butts. Yes, they handle big rigs and not many campgrounds in the area can. Owners are indifferent to the fact that the washrooms and laundry room are filthy. Only stayed here to visit the Medora musical. Will dry camp in the state park next time around.

Good location for visiting Grand Rapids. Tight for big rigs. Many sites are unlevel but the sites toward the front of the campground seem better and easier to maneuver. Lots of trees so satellite reception might be an issue. Will stay here again only in the off season as it may be too tight if the campground is crowded.

No amenities but a good place to pull in for the night. Big rig friendly. Not too far from the interstate. Clean with easy access into sites. We will stay here again.

Great campground - especially for a KOA! Nice wide big rig sites. Great amenities. Space between the sites. Easy on and off the highway. Will stay here again.

Nice campground right off the interstate. Good location for visiting Missoula. Easy big rig access although some of the pull through sites are tight getting in and out due to the narrow roads. Manager doesn't want you to go on the grass to get into the sites yet the sites are too narrow with tow cars attached. Not too big a deal but something to consider at check in. Will stay here again but will make sure we have a better pull through site.

This is a great campground if you need a home base while touring Portland. Yes, the aircraft are noisy but they quit at night. There are lean restrooms and facilities and very helpful management staff. There are no real amenities, or trees, but the campground is convenient to downtown and some of the more interesting Portland neighborhoods. We will stay here again.

Nice paved campground with good views of the Snake river if you can get a site in the front row. Other sites behind the front row are fine for Big Rigs but are close together. The campground is incredibly clean and tidy. Daily continental breakfast and newspaper was a plus. There is direct access to a fabulous bike/walking path which winds along the river. There is not much to do in Clarkston or Lewiston but this is a nice stop. We will stay here again in.

It is a good stopover park but expensive for one night. There are gravel roads and sites without any shade. Everything looked new and clean and access to I5 was a breeze. I would stay here again but would join CampUSA just to get the discount of half-off which would just about pay for the CampUSA membership.

Terrific campground a few miles from Durango. Beautiful views of the mountians. Very well maintained place. We stayed a week and noticed many other big rigs doing the same. Good wifi. The only thing that bothered us is that when we made the reservation we were told we would be in a premium site with lots of grass and a good view. We ended up in a premium site with nothing but gravel. The campground was not flexible in changing sites. Not sure why as there were plenty of other sites open. Even with that we would stay here again.

Great stopover park even though it's an older KOA. The owners are terrific. They take a tremendous amount of pride in keeping the campground neat, clean and accessible. Not much in Goodland, expect of course the 100 foot Van Gogh painting. What a hoot. Will stay in this campground again.

Typical small, tight KOA. This is the only real option when staying in Alamosa. OK stopover spot. Because it's in the desert, the campground roads are gravel and dusty. Facilities were clean. No landscaping to speak of. Will stay here again if we need to stay in Alamosa.

Very nice campground in a country setting. About 5 miles from the interstate but a good place to call home while touring the Kansas City area. Also a good place for campers with kids. Lots of fishing and a nice pool. The campground itself is clean, accessible and has good wifi. There seem to be a ton of work campers around the campground. The front office staff needs more training as they couldn't seem to check people in efficiently or take reservations over the phone very well. Nice big rig sites with plenty of room. Will stay here again.

Great big rig park just outside of Moab. No shade but nice views, clean sites and bathrooms. One reviewer mentioned the lack of landscaping. That's no big deal as the views up are far better then the views down. Nice pool and showers. Will definitely stay again.

This is an interesting fairgrounds campground. While there are 1800 sites, only about 50 of them are level enough to handle big rigs. We were fortunate that we stayed when there wasn't much activity going on in the fairgrounds. The campground would be difficult to negotiate if it were crowded. If you do stay at off-event times, pick a site on the top of the hill and you will enjoy beautiful views of Des Moines. Call ahead to get directions to the campgrounds. May or may not stay here again in our motorhome. This is not a good place to stay for just a stopover as it is a bit tough to get into.

Great park for a stopover in Jacksonville. Located right off I95 just north of Jacksonville. Large padded pull-through sites enable the larger rigs to keep tow cars attached. Clean showers and restrooms and nice pool. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean campground close to Miami and just a mile from the Florida Turnpike. This is a county park that was almost empty in May. All electrical boxes were upgraded last year to 50 amps. This is great but next to the electrical boxes are brand new posts which can hinder slideouts on larger rigs. On some sites, the posts are too close to the cement pads making it impossible to keep larger rigs on the pads with open sliders. We were able to get a site with enough room.

Easy access on and off the interstate. Clean, well managed. Good stopover park. A bit pricey for what you get but fine for a night or two. Truck stops located nearby for easy fueling. Will stay here again.

Nice, clean park full of trees and activities for kids. Tight entry road but no problem when going slow. We stayed in the back of the park where they put all the motorhomes. Good stopover or destination park. Significant improvements have been made in the last few years. We will stay here again.

Full gravel campground outside the grounds of Lowes Motor Speedway. Huges level, full hook up gravel sites. While not a great campground this is a perfect location for visiting Charlotte and the surrounding areas. We wish every major city had these types of accommodations. Large outlet mall and shopping just a mile away. Will stay here again.

Fine for an overnight stay while visiting the Pittsburgh area. Large pull-throughs in an open field make it decent for big rigs. Not worth the $32 per night charge but not many parks to choose from in the area. Lots of seasonal campers. Close to turnpike and I-70. Would only stay here again if we had to.

Located right off the interstate. Highway noise is loud. Great stopover site or a place to headquarter while touring the Richmond area. Not a destination park but fine for a safe place to park the big rig for a few nights.

One of the best run KOA's in the entire network. This ia great campground close to the turnpike and interstates. Ideal for big rigs. Great location when staying in the Cleveland area. Clean and scenic. Will stay here again.

A decent park to stay while touring the Detroit area. Close to highways and within a half hour to major attractions. The park is huge with about 500 sites. At least 90% of the sites are seasonal trailers. Weekends are busy, but mid week is quiet. The roads are dirt and dusty but not too bad. Plenty of room for big rigs in the transient sites with 50 amp service. If you need 50 amp you must ask for it when making reservations. Will stay here again as there are not too many good alternatives in the Detroit area.

Located right off highway and next to a Cracker Barrel. Easy on and off highway. A bit noisy during the day. Good location as a stopover coming from or going to Canada. Very nice and helpful park managers. Level grass sites. Will stay here again.

Located on the snake river and right off the highway. Mostly large pull through sites. Half the sites are shaded and half are open. Newer big rig pull throughs on grass allow for satellite reception but the highway traffic noise is loud during the day. Great place for an overnight stop but not too scenic for a longer visit. Would stay here again on our way through Idaho.

We stayed here a week while visiting the sites around Cody. This is the best campground in Cody. Sites are fine for big rigs but you are close to your neighbors. Since most people are out sightseeing and not hanging around the campground the site sizes were not a problem. No shade but decent wifi. Would stay here again.

Great little campground right off the highway. Easy in and out. No trees or shade. Long pull-through sites for big rigs. No need to unhook. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for an overnight stop. We camped here in a motorhome.

An OK campground for small RV's and tents. Very difficult for big rigs and fifth wheels. While the campground is on the river, only a couple of tent sights have river views. Great location close to the park entrance and not far from the small town of Three Rivers. Friendly camp manager who is in the process of upgrading. Would recommend for smaller RV's but not for big rigs.

This is an excellent campground for a few nights. Big pull throughs and easy on and off access to the highway. Situated in the back of one of the nicest casinos in Reno. No shade and only small trees. Since the campground was only 1/4 full there was plenty of space for everyone. Full use of all hotel facilities - pool, spa, etc. Just 50 minutes to North Lake Tahoe. Would camp here again in our motorhome.

Great little rv park located right on the grounds of a huge equestrian center. No real amenities however the park is clean, safe and close to downtown Baton Rouge and LSU. As another reviewer mentioned, it can be crowded during LSU events. We had no issues as we arrived midweek and only stayed for 2 nights. The park is listed in both Woodall's and Trailer Life. DO NOT follow the directions given in these guidebooks as they suggest passing over railroad tracks impossible for rigs over 20 feet. We will stay here again in our Motorhome.

We stayed at this park 2 years ago and it was in much better condition back then. The park is fine for a quick overnight stay. There are a number of full time trailers and a few make-shift tents on the property. The bathrooms are terribly dirty and most of the sinks and stalls were inoperable. In the back of the park where they send most of the overnighters, a 4 foot fence separates the park from a colony of homeless people. We will find another place to stay in Lake City when we return.

Great little RV park right off I-10 and about 10 miles east of Pensacola. A nice park to stay for a few days while visiting Pensacola. Both paved and gravel roads in the park. Family owned and run well. Everything is clean and neat. Road entering the park is a little tight but overall it's fine for big rigs. We will stay here again.

Although close to Mobile, this is not a campground. It is a full time trailer park with 8 sites for transients. The park is for sale and the owner/manager does not seem interested in renting out overnight spots. In fact, he was downright rude. No restrooms, no facilities and a very narrow road make this a poor choice for an overnight stay in Mobile. We will not return.

This is a mini-park behind a gas station. It's right off the highway and easy to get into. A decent place to stay for a night while traveling through Arkansas. Clean sites but there are no facilities. Will stay again in our motorhome as we pass through.

Very clean RV park right off the highway but not too loud with highway noise. Just west of Oklahoma City. Helpful on-site manager. Sites are long and level. Good place to stay for a night or two while visiting Oklahoma City. We will return in our Motorhome.

Very nice campground located right off I5 and about 7 miles north of Redding. Great location for Shasta Lake activities. Sites were level, clean and easy to access. Nice pool and new showers and bathroom facilities. Owners and desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Most sites have shade trees, which is helpful in the 100 degree plus Redding weather. Excellent WiFi and decent cable. Would definitely stay here again. We camped in a 40 foot motorhome.

Nice, clean, family run RV park. The owners care about the property and it shows. Located on Highway 101 about 5 miles south of Florence. The dunes are within walking distance. No real views but a good place to stay while exploring the area. Would definitely return.

Good place to stay for a few days when visiting the Portland area. Large, concrete pull through sites with plenty of grass between sites. No shade but since it's cool in Portland most of the time that's not a problem. Located next to Portland Airport and airplane take-off noise gets loud at times. Would stay here again.

Peaceful, quiet park about 15 miles from Seattle. Nice home base while touring the area. Lakeside sites are beautiful but occupied primarily by seasonal residents. Transient sites in the back of the park are quiet but not very level. A bit pricey given the unlevel sites but there are no better choices close to Seattle. Would stay here again.

This is a parking lot with hookups and generally a pit of a campground. It's the closest park to Vancouver which is right over the bridge. Negatives include small, tight sites, cost, and road/bridge noise. The only positive is that this park is close to a major shopping area and Vancouver. Would not stay here again. Would stay out in Surrey and drive into Vancouver. We were in a motorhome and at least we had insulation from the traffic noise. We felt sorry for the tent people who were less than 12 feet from the busy road.

Nice public camground on the resevoir. Reserved sites are located near a busy road with traffic noise but overall the sites are spacious, clean and scenic. Many seasonal and monthly trailers and motorhomes. Only a few miles from shopping. Convenient to downtown Jackson. We stayed for 6 nights and we would stay again.

Beautiful, clean and relatively new RV park. The Owners clearly put a lot of capital and time into making this lakefront park a family-oriented destination. Long, wide, level pull through sites with no trees (which is fine for us because we need satellite access). Lakefront sites are spectacular and in great demand. Other sites on the hill are spacious and have lake views. Good place to stay for a weekend or a week.

Just over the Gerogia State Line in Bracey, Virginia this campground is more of a seasonal trailer park with about 50 transient campsites. Located about 5 miles from I85. Very shaded, hilly, narrow gravel roads and only 4 pull throughs (2 with sewer). The remaining sites were back ins. Nice people but facilities need a lot of TLC. Stayed 1 night.
